Your pool pump, filter or chlorinator keeps the whole system moving. When something is not working properly, our experienced technicians assess the equipment, explain what has failed and quote any repair before the work goes ahead.
A repair visit starts from $99. If a part or replacement is needed, we will price that clearly before proceeding.
We repair pool equipment including pumps, filters, salt chlorinators and salt cells, valves, unions, baskets, timers and other faults around the equipment pad. We work with all major pump, filter and chlorinator brands.
A pool system is a chain: circulation, filtration, sanitising and heating all depend on the equipment beside the pool working together. We check the parts that affect the fault, then set out the practical next step.
Pool pumps, filter and chlorinator equipment.
Pool equipment repair visit — from $99. There is no separate call-out or diagnostic fee. The visit is the starting point for assessing the fault and discussing the repair.
Some repairs need parts; some show that a pump or another component is better replaced. In either case, we explain the options and provide the cost before additional work starts.
Prices current 12 September 2026.
We begin with the equipment connected to the problem: the pump, filter, chlorinator, baskets, valves, unions, timers and the circulation around the equipment pad. That gives us a practical starting point without turning a simple fault into a guess.
When the fault is clear, we explain whether a repair is suitable or whether replacement is the better option. If the work goes beyond the initial repair visit, you receive the price before it starts.
A replacement is quoted as two clear parts: labour from $150, plus the pump. The pump and any additional parts or materials are charged separately unless included in the quotation.
Our pump-replacement work can include removing the old pump, fitting the replacement with required pipework, unions and fittings, checking the nearby valves and pipework, priming and commissioning the system, checking water flow and filter pressure, setting speeds or timers where applicable, removing the old pump and handing over the basic operating information.
We price the pump before work begins, so you know what the replacement involves.
A humming pump can mean the system needs attention. A pump that will not start or makes no sound, a problem that appears after rain, or a reset button that keeps tripping are all reasons to arrange an assessment rather than leave the pool equipment running poorly.
We check the equipment on site and talk you through what we find. If a repair or replacement is needed, we quote it before proceeding.
We inspect pump seals, filter housings, valves, unions and the heater heat exchanger for visible signs of water loss, wear or faults. These are the accessible parts of the pool system that sit around the equipment pad.
Buried pipework and shell cracks need the appropriate specialist, so we keep the scope clear and focus on the equipment we can inspect and repair.
A regular visit is a practical way to spot equipment faults before they interrupt the pool. See our regular pool maintenance visits on the Northern Beaches for the visit options, what is included and the maintenance-cost calculator.
If the fault is with a gas pool heater, see our gas pool heater service and repair page. Gas work on a heater is handled as gas work; the rest of the pool equipment is looked after by our experienced technicians.
Our pool visits cover the Northern Beaches — Manly, Freshwater, Curl Curl, Dee Why, Collaroy, Narrabeen, Mona Vale, Warriewood, Newport, Avalon Beach, Palm Beach, Frenchs Forest, Belrose and Terrey Hills — as well as the Eastern Suburbs and the North Shore.

Labour starts from $150, plus the pump. The pump and any additional parts or materials are quoted separately unless included in the quotation.
Should I repair or replace my pool pump?
That depends on the fault, the condition of the unit and the cost of the repair. We assess the equipment and explain the options before work starts.
My pump is humming or will not start. What should I do?
Arrange an assessment. A humming pump, a pump with no sound, a problem after rain or a reset button that keeps tripping all need the equipment checked on site.
Can you check water around the pool equipment?
We inspect accessible equipment-pad components for visible signs of water loss, wear or faults. Buried pipework and shell cracks need the appropriate specialist.
Can regular maintenance help avoid equipment faults?
Regular maintenance checks equipment operation and reports faults or recommended repairs. See our Northern Beaches pool maintenance visit options.
